Internationals Bag Third Title

The annual PNG Origin Clash saw the Telikom Xcess Internationals winning the challenge 24-20 in front of a capacity crowd of over 10,000 vocal rugby league fans.

The Internationals coming into the game as underdogs recorded it's third straight win in its three year running. This challenge was initiated back in 2007 by Adrian Lam to pick the best Kumuls team to play in any international matches.

The Selectors had a hard time finalizing the Kumuls team given the depth of talent and experience on offer but finally managed to settle with the top 19 performers of the day. Internationals were impressive to contribute 11 players while the residents only managed 8.
